A fun tennis decal for the bottom of your tennis racquet handle. Tennis butts can be purchased on Amazon.com. Friends from my tennis team gave me one. Mine shows beer or wine. This is a fun way to start the tennis match! Package this decal with some pink Wilson Pro Tennis Racquet Overgrip, a couple of cans of ProPenn tennis balls , and a set of cute vibration dampeners and you will be set for your next tennis match. $

A Tennis life long sleeve tennis top! The first time I saw Lacoa sports tennis line was at the Weston, Florida, Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center. This long sleeve shirt is super comfortable! They didn’t have my size, but I found this shirt on the Lacoa Sports website, along with a new tennis skirt (tattoo)! $$

#8 – Reinforce what you learn on the court by reading a tennis book. Tennis, like most sports is a mental game. So learn how to be mentally tough by reading a book about it or ready about your favorite tennis pro.

#5 – Liven up your game with a new tennis racquet from your favorite tennis shop.
Although my husband and I play tennis with the Solinco tennis racquet, the grips are different sizes, and the racquets are strung differently. My favorite tennis shop is Tao Tennis Shops at Warren Health and Racquet Club, Warren, New Jersey. Ask for the owner, Gerald Sarmiento, and he will set you up with a great tennis racquet. $$$$
#4 – Enroll your loved one in a tennis clinic (or enroll together).
Contact your local tennis facility to sign up. Usually sessions are in the fall, winter, spring and summer. Many towns sponsor tennis clinics, which is a great way to get started (go on your town’s recreation department website). $$
#3 – A lesson with a tennis teaching professional.
If you don’t have a tennis teaching professional, call the local tennis club, and they will refer you. Sometimes I recycle an old tennis ball can and put a gift certificate provided by the Tennis Pro, in it with red pink or white confetti, for the perfect gift presentation. $$$

#2 – All inclusive tennis weekend.
Book a weekend at Total Tennis in Saugerties, NY (one hour away from NYC). This is a year round tennis facility: Rustic rooms, dining, spa, and tennis clinics (including private lesson) included in your reservation. I have been several times and would highly recommend it. Perfect for fun, five hours a day of tennis! (tip: Total Tennis also has paddle tennis, indoor tennis courts) $$$$
Cliff Drysdale Tennis, The Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne
#1 – A romantic resort weekend.
Book a weekend at my favorite resort with tennis, such as The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, Florida. Fly into Miami or Fort Lauderdale, and then either rent a car or Uber over to the resort. You do not have to make reservations to join in the clinics at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Florida; however, you should show up a few minutes early to ensure your spot at the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center, on property. After tennis be sure to enjoy the pool, beach, restaurants on the property. On weekends, the resort has entertainment in the main lobby (something for everyone). This romantic resort weekend is essential for the resort and beach lover. $$$$$
